ABOUT US

After graduating from art college in London, Amanda Petherick, started
work for a small advertising agency in Mayfair, London - Fleet Advertising.
Here, her talent for illustration was finally realised and a number of her illustrations were published in client publications.

Mandy started out as Studio Assistant and worked her way up to Head
Designer, before being head-hunted by The Creative Works in Wimbledon.  
Then she worked as Creative Services Manager for DDH Advertising &
Corporate Development in Tottenham Court Road, London.
She then went into a production role at Claessens International (top
trademark and brand specialists) before taking the positions of Production
and Studio Managers with Entertainment Publications/Cendant Corporation.
After almost ten years at this last post, Mandy decided to set up her own freelance business "AJP DESIGN".

After re-locating to France, Mandy has now set up as a freelance designer
working from home in Saint Paul La Roche, in the north Dordogne area.

As well as graphic design (logo's, stationery etc), and website design, Mandy
still keeps her hand in as a traditional artist and takes on commissions for portraits in Pencil, pen and ink or water colour, she also paints abstract
canvases in acrylics.
